摘要(Abstract):
Charge transport processes at the nanoscale lies at the heart of electronic, photovoltaic, and thermoelectric devices. When charge is transferred in a nanoscale system, its environments, in the form of electrical contacts, internal nuclear motion, solvent and electromagnetic fields fundamentally influence its behavior, posing a great challenge for theoretical modelings. In this talk, I will present our recent attempt, termed generalized input-output approach inspired by an optical counterpart, to address aforementioned effects on charge transfer at the nanoscale. This talk will cover essential formalism as well as applications with a special focus on new understandings gained from the approach.

刘俊杰,2016年博士毕业于复旦大学物理系,然后于美国麻省理工学院(2017年全年),加拿大阿尔伯塔大学(2018-2019年),加拿大多伦多大学(2019年-至今)以博士后研究员身份从事科研工作。主要研究方向包括量子热力学、纳米电子学、光-物质耦合体系等。在Phys. Rev. Lett., Nano Lett., J. Phys. Chem. Lett.等著名期刊上发表多篇代表性论文,被国际同行广泛引用。
